In Their Own Story

The ruins of Tokyo glowed with an unnatural violet hue as the Conception began. The figure stood atop the shattered skyscraper, wings of light and shadow spreading behind them. Below, demons ceased their skirmishes, looking up in silence. Angels sheathed their swords; fiends lowered their claws. They had waited for this moment since the first fall of man. With a single nod from the Messiah, the army moved as one, ready to burn the old world or build the new.
